How to get unlimited access to the NYTimes.com from home:

  1. Log in to your account on the Irving Public Library catalog with your library card number and PIN.
  2. Select the New York Times – Remote Access tab, located at the bottom of the menu on the left side of the page. Then click on the New York Times link to get a redeem access code.
  3. You will be taken to a page titled “A special offer from The New York Times” with a code located at the bottom of the page.  Click on the blue Redeem button. 
  4. You will be taken to a registration page. New users will need to create an account by entering your email address and creating a password.  Click on the blue Sign Up button to finish logging in. Existing users will click on the blue Log In link at the top of the page.
  5. An email confirmation will be sent to you immediately. Enjoy your 72 hours of unlimited access to The New York Times!

The service is also available at the library by following these steps:

  1. Visit New York Times on one of the library’s computers or connect your own device to Irving Wireless.
  2. First-time users will need to register for an account by entering your email address and creating a password.
  3. Existing users must log in with the email address and password associated with their account.
  4. Enjoy unlimited access to The New York Times anytime you are at the Irving Public Library.
