Animal Services

  1. Free Cat Adoptions

    June 1, 2018 - June 30, 2018 @ Irving Animal Care Campus

    June is Adopt-a-Cat Month at the Irving Animal Care Campus, 4140 Valley View Lane. Adoption fees for cats 1 year and older are waived during June, and kittens are available for a $50 adoption fee. Vaccinations, spay/neuter, leukemia test and microchip included with all cat adoptions.

    All adoptions must be processed 30 minutes before closing.

  1. Luzon Park Re-Dedication Ceremony

    The City of Irving Parks and Recreation Department invites the public to attend the Luzon Park Re-dedication Ceremony. Improvements include a wider, fully accessible pavement, an expanded playground with swings and a shade canopy with picnic tables for gatherings of 20 people. In addition, the park's lighting was expanded and improved for evening use and after-hours park security.

    In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be rescheduled.

  2. Teen Field Trip: Texas Rangers vs. San Diego Padres

    June 26, 2018, All Day @ Lively Pointe Youth Center

    The field trip series is open to youth, ages 12-17, and transportation is provided.

    Payment for field trips must be made at the time of registration; space is limited. Participants must arrive 15 minutes prior to departure for field trip. Staff does not condone disrespectful or illegal behavior. Parents will be notified of children who have behavior problems during field trips. In serious cases, parents may be required to pick up child from field trip location, and/or child may be denied from attending future field trips.
