Animal Services

  1. Free Cat Adoptions

    June 1, 2018 - June 30, 2018 @ Irving Animal Care Campus

    June is Adopt-a-Cat Month at the Irving Animal Care Campus, 4140 Valley View Lane. Adoption fees for cats 1 year and older are waived during June, and kittens are available for a $50 adoption fee. Vaccinations, spay/neuter, leukemia test and microchip included with all cat adoptions.

    All adoptions must be processed 30 minutes before closing.

    Shop for gently used books, music, DVDs, magazines and audiobooks at the Friends of the Irving Public Library 2018 Annual Book Sale a day early as a perk of being a member of the Friends. Memberships are available at the door and start as low as $15. The sale opens to the general public Friday, June 8 at 10 a.m. All proceeds benefit the Irving Public Library system.

  1. Diabetes Prevention Class
